In 1990 I was working at a day care center, I was the teacher for 27 Children in my Classroom and that was my second experience with children been hungry.
My Children would go home on the weekends and on Monday when they are back to school they would be fussing, crying and was always upset and I was trying to figure out why? and I remember when I was younger I saw the same behavior in my siblings and I realize that they were hungry.
Every Thursday when I got paid, I would take some money from my pay check and buy little snacks, and on Fridays I would packed a bag for Saturday and Sunday so they would have food for weekend and this is how I started feeding children.

We have been feeding children since 1990, which started out with just me trying to make a difference in just one child's life and now we have feed thousand of children, Not only local but global.
